Jackets for the Lakotas
Woodlands has the God-given opportunity to speak about Jesus to and unreached group of Native Americans called the Lakotas who live in remote South Dakota. We are collecting jackets (winter jackets, not hoodies or sweatshirts) of all sizes in the month of August. Clean out your closet, go to the thrift store, or hit up Walmart! Let’s come through for the 160 kids in need. You can bring the jackets to church any Sunday morning in August. We will be hand delivering these jackets in the name of Jesus.
Don’t miss Taco Sunday— Sunday, September 8th. Come to church and stay for tacos after. Street tacos, quesadillas, and drinks will be made fresh and all proceeds benefit mission work in Mexico. Make sure to bring cash.
[Needs in the Church]
Woodlands exists because of normal, everyday people who have chosen to give generously. We are funded completely by your donations; we receive no outside financial support so we work hard to be excellent stewards of your generosity. You can give on Sundays in the offering box or online at any time by clicking here.
For the Kids!
Find your place serving at Woodlands once per month with our Nursery or Children’s Ministry! We are in need of people who would love to give one Sunday per month to love our kids. Want to get involved: Click here to let us know.
[In the Future]
Ladies, mark your calendar now for Saturday, October 5th. Please join us for a couple of fun filled hours. We will be making a hostess gift for Fall events you attend. In addition to the craft Erin Meers (Pastor Daniel’s wife) will be giving her testimony. Fun times for all.
Halloween in the Park
Put this on your calendar! Woodlands will be serving at Rim Rec’s HUGE Halloween in the Park event. Time to “Love This Mountain” and meet people in our community. Halloween in the Park is on Wednesday, October 30th.
